Movies Editorial Review
Snake In The Eagles Shadow is a light-hearted kung fu movie from 1979 that showcases Jackie Chan's exceptional talent along with director Yuen Woo-ping. This film brilliantly combines comedy and action as Jackie’s character, an orphaned pupil, learns snake fist techniques in an engaging story filled with rivalry among kung fu schools. Critics appreciate its humorous touches and effective pacing, deeming the action sequences as gracefully choreographed. The 88 Films release offers impressive picture quality and bonus audio options, though some viewers noted minor censorship issues. Overall, it remains a delightful entry for kung fu enthusiasts, with memorable characters and entertaining fight choreography, making it a recommended addition to any collector's library.
