Chordcat can suggest up to 110,000 chord combinations (Total number of chord combinations in the database) which can be used to create unique progressions. When the groovebox is in Chord Cruiser mode, an exclusive algorithm selects and suggests multiple musically compatible chords from its database. Versatile arrangement features and intuitive instrument control. 3 powerful effects: Arpeggiator, Delay, and Ducker can be manipulated intuitively using the XY pad. Running Direction: By pressing a single button, the playback direction of 4x4 step-sequenced patterns can be changed between right, down, clockwise, and counterclockwise to explore new phrases and rhythms. Sound presets and tone-shaping tools: 145 on-board sound presets and 16 drum kits are designed for a wide range of genres, and they can be tuned using the low-pass filter and amp envelope. When a key and scale are set on Chordcat, only the notes that belong to the selected key and scale are mapped to the keyboard. This helps both beginners and professional musicians improvise.
