Photo Essays Editorial Review
**** The book "Sinatra: Frank & Friendly" has garnered a diverse reception from readers, primarily focusing on its stunning photographic content. Many fans of Frank Sinatra appreciate the wealth of personal and candid images it contains, noting that it provides a close look at the iconic singer's life. The quality of the photography, particularly the ability to capture various facets of Sinatra's persona—from jovial to contemplative—has been lauded, making it a standout feature of the book. For collectors and die-hard fans of Sinatra, this book is Considered a valuable addition to their collections. However, not all feedback is uniformly positive. Some readers felt that the content may not add much new value for those already versed in Sinatra's history, citing that much of the material might have been seen elsewhere, particularly in terms of film appearances. There were complaints regarding the narrow time frame of the pictures and a perceived overemphasis on specific films. Despite these critiques, many still find joy in the emotional resonance of the captured moments and the overall presentation of the book. Overall, "Sinatra: Frank & Friendly" appears to be a beautifully crafted homage to Sinatra that delights many fans, while also leaving some wanting more variety and depth in the photos presented. **
