The blade is sharp and cuts cleanly even in hard woods like birch, oak plywood, and walnut planks. It handles general cutting very nicely with no tear outs and can rip poplar without burning. However, it does begin to burn on ripping with maple, but this not unexpected as this blade is not designed for ripping. The blade works with the riving knife that comes with the saw, other blades that are too thin won't work. It is also a good value product that can cut almost as good as more expensive blades.
