Antworten: No, that is not a normal voltage. Do not try to measure current while drawing a load. Measure voltage from the ground pin to the hot pin with a testing meter. -

I have a mister installation that uses a 3/4 HP motor. Is this adequate?
Antworten: Get the specs on the motor and limit the power to about what a hair dryer uses. Check using one of those Watt Meters. -

Antworten: It is rated at 15amps @ 120 volts. That would be a total of 15 amps for everything plugged into both sockets. One socket is X10 controlled and the other is always on. -

Antworten: It should work with any X-10 switch. Do not use a dimmer due to equipment damage that could occur if something that requires a full 120V is plugged into the switched half of the outlet. -

The X10 SR227 SuperSocket Receptacle is a single device with two outlets that are rated at 15amps @ 120 volts. The product is easy to install, and it is set up with a small screwdriver. The socket should be able to handle 15amp routinely. The power should be limited to 110V + 15A, which is about 1500 W (VA). The X10 signal sender works off of the Wi-Fi signal that the outlet emits. The X10 devices are getting harder to get because the products/technology is basically obsolete. Reviewers had some concerns with this product, with some reporting that these units fail on a regular basis. It also had some negative reviews from customers who complained that the product goes off or fails within six months of use. However, others find it a reliable switch, and some have been using X-10 products for years.
