From a tonal perspective they deliver with a great frequency range and a massive bite, and they are dead silent on the clean channel. The vast majority of users love how it sounds and how easy it was to set up, making their guitars sound infinitely better, in some cases even comparable to that of a Les Paul. However, some complaints are regarding the quality of the tone and volume pots supplied, which are uneven and of different widths, and the sticky tone pot. Some customers also had to modify their guitars slightly as the pickups didn't arrive with a fully assembled face plate to just drop in, and the pickup selector, tone and volume had to be mounted directly, which is not difficult, but not straightforward either. In conclusion, the EMG T-System is a great investment for those looking to upgrade their Telecaster's sound quality with ease and reliability.
