New Wave & Post-Punk Editorial Review
**** "Autofiction: Expanded" by Suede has received an overwhelmingly positive reception from customers who appreciate the musical content of this collection. Fans rave about the album, highlighting how tracks like "15 Again," "The Only I Can Love You," and "Always the Quiet Ones" stand out as favorites. Many noted that the album has become a staple for them, with some listening to it on repeat for months. The inclusion of a live disc has been particularly praised, giving listeners an authentic experience reflective of Suede's energetic performances. The bonus tracks, especially "The Prey" and "You Don't Know Me," have become instant favorites for several listeners, showcasing the band's continued relevance and vitality in their music. Customers have emphasized the emotional performance by Brett Anderson, even acknowledging some shakiness in his voice, which adds to the authenticity of the live experience. However, while the music has won enthusiastic acclaim, it is the packaging that has drawn significant criticism. Reviewers express frustration with the design, calling it impractical and a source of disappointment for collectors. Despite the beautiful visuals and photographs, the complexity of accessing the CDs has been labeled as inconvenient. One reviewer even went so far as to suggest that had they known about the packaging issue, they might have opted for streaming instead. Overall, "Autofiction: Expanded" is touted as a must-have for Suede fans, offering an impressive musical experience that is occasionally marred by its packaging. **
