Maxpedition Gear Cocoon Pouch, Black, Medium
The Maxpedition Gear Cocoon Pouch in khaki, medium is a multi-functional gear pouch that can be used to carry anything from a Sawyer Mini Water Filter system to an AR-15/M4 Bolt Carrier Group or even an iPhone 6 (although it might be too long for it). The pouch is triple polyurethane coated for water resistance, and the Teflon fabric protector makes it easy to maintain. One user was able to fit a Sawyer with a 16oz bag, straw, and syringe in the pouch, but had to fold the bag lengthwise. Another user reported that an AR10 BCG would fit in the pouch. However, a Toaks Titanium Long Handle Spoon would not fit because it is longer than the length of the pouch. The pouch has MOLLE style loops on the back for easy attachment to backpacks using Tac Ties or to a belt but needs to be hanging in a vertical position. The pouch does not have an actual belt loop but can fit a belt up to 1” wide, and a 3” molle strap can support up to 3” belts.
